Questions & Answers
Does the practice accept NHS patients?
Yes. We are introducing the services of a Dental Therapist to our practice and would like to take this opportunity to introduce her and the services she can provide. Beth Lemons will be working with us from the 28th of July and appointments will be available on Saturdays between 8am & 2pm for your convenience. Therapists are dental care professionals who carry out a range of procedures including fillings, fissure sealants, scaling & polishes, & extractions for children. They are fully qualified and, like dentists, are registered with the General Dental Council. We have developed this role to assist us in meeting the NHS targets imposed on us. The therapist will carry out more straightforward procedures leaving more time for Jane to concentrate on more complex cases. Appointments can only be arranged on referral from your dentist and Jane will discuss this option with you at your examination appointment. If you have queries on this new role please feel free to speak with me, Jane or any team member who will be happy to answer any of your questions. We welcome feedback on this new NHS service.
